The level will show a road and empty plots of land along its sides. You can build towers in these plots while you wait for the enemies to arrive. When they do, enemies will run or fly along the road and your towers will need to take them out, just like other hero tower defense experiences.
Towers and enemies operate on a rock-paper-scissors system illustrated by an icon on the units. This can be used to find weaknesses so that you can eliminate enemies faster.
