Deep Drill Game Description
Deep Drill is a mining idle game that plays itself. There is no home screen: the page loads and the bit is already turning. Every metre it cuts pays ore, ore is the only thing you spend, and there is no timer, no lives and no way to lose — the well keeps producing while you read the panel, and it keeps paying while the tab is closed.
Every input is a purchase
The drill descends by itself from the first frame — there is no button that makes it go faster and no home screen to press Start on. What you do is decide what the ore buys: a bigger bit, coolant against the rock's hardness, a wider hopper, or a night shift that pays you for coming back.
The wall is the point
Each of the eight strata is both harder and poorer than the one above it, so the well decelerates rather than merely slowing. When it stops being worth drilling, seal it: the deepest point you reached pays out cores, and cores buy twelve permanent nodes that never reset.
How to play Deep Drill?
Desktop
Click a rig row's price = Buy that level
Click the mode key = Buy x1 / Buy max
Mobile
Tap = the same; the panel is the half that scrolls
Both
Rig / Cores / Surge / Salvage = the four panel tabs
Escape = Close a panel
Hint
The drill descends on its own and never stops, so your only job is spending ore. Keep the bit ahead of the rock's hardness, and when the well slows to a crawl, seal it on the Salvage tab: cores and their nodes never reset.

FAQs
How do I make it drill faster?
Buy drill bit levels with ore, and coolant to cut the rock's hardness. The drill itself never stops and there is no button that speeds it up.
What happens when I seal the well?
Depth, ore and every rig level reset. Your deepest point pays out cores, and cores buy permanent nodes that no future seal ever takes away.
