PetDoku Game Description
"Peekaboo - can you find me?" The pets are already hiding, waiting for you to track them down. Each color region, row and column holds exactly one pet, and no two pets may ever touch - not even diagonally. Double-tap a cell to place a pet, tap once to mark an X where none can hide, and drag to mark a whole row. All 5,000 stages are solvable by deduction alone, so you never have to guess. Unlock 100 pets, take on the daily challenge, and collect a birthstone trophy every month.
No guessing, ever
Most grid puzzles let you get away with a lucky guess. This one does not need it. Every one of the 5,000 stages was checked by a solver that only uses human reasoning steps, so there is always a next move you can prove. If you are stuck, the answer is on the board - not in a coin flip.
How to play PetDoku?
Desktop
Double-click an empty cell = place a pet
Single click = mark an X
Click and drag = mark a row of X's
Mobile
Double-tap an empty cell = place a pet
Single tap = mark an X
Drag = mark a row of X's
Hint
Each color region, each row and each column holds exactly one pet, and no two pets may touch - not even diagonally. Start where only one empty cell is left. Stuck? Spend a pet hint or an X hint.
