Even a more relatable element comes with the game looking like it might involve remote-controlled cars rather than the real thing. Either way, you've got small tracks that you can see from the sky and follow all of the action even if you're trailing far ahead or even farther behind. The good news is that no one is in danger because this is a video game and you're encouraged to drive as skillfully and recklessly as possible to claim first place.

This is a racing game and you can choose why you're racing. You still have to be in the mood to drive a car fast, but just imagine being stuck in traffic and you'll feel the urge rise soon enough.
How to Play
Nitro Car Racing is a 2D top-down racing game that you can play with the mouse or keyboard. For the former, you'll need to click the onscreen icons located at the bottom left and bottom right parts of the screen using the cursor and Left Mouse Button.

This is a racing game with a series of tracks with differing challenges to complete. The goal is to beat the challenge of each track, unlocking new ones as you do. If you fail to complete the challenge within the requirements, you'll need to try it again.
When you spawn onto the track, you'll take control of the red car. The race details such as time, personal best, and the number of laps are located at the top of the screen. After the countdown, the race will begin and you're free to drive along the track however you want. You can bump into cars to overtake them or cut across the non-track areas (at the cost of speed). If you do bump into cars and objects, your car will take damage indicated at the bottom of the screen. The more damage you take, the slower your car will move and the more likely it will be destroyed. The race will end once you have finished all the laps or once the timer has run out. As time passes, your Nitro meter will fill up, and once full, you can use it to gain a burst of speed.
There are also collectibles that you can drive into to benefit your car. The N icons will instantly fill up your Nitro Meter, the M will raise your max speed, and the D will repair any damage received to your car.
Tips and Tricks
The control of this car is much sharper than traditional cars which means that a strong button press can lead to an instant sharp turn. To minimize these effects, try to stick to the center of the track and commit to narrow or wide turns. Try not to get distracted when sharing the track with other racers and keep driving like you're the only one there.
