How to Play
Alien Hunters is a 2D top-down strategy game about hunting down enemies by only using the mouse. To control the hunter, move the cursor around the level and click the Left Mouse Button. The hunter will move to the point you clicked and take the shortest path to that location. They'll collect or attack anything that comes across their path. The goal is to eliminate all the enemies in the area. Your health is displayed above your head, and if it hits zero, you'll have to retry the level.
The main menu lets you collect daily rewards, check the rankings, and visit the shop where you can select and buy new hunters. Once you have your hunter ready, you can go to the level select screen and choose any unlocked level. After you choose, you'll spawn into a specific part of the map where you must start moving. The enemies will begin patrolling the area, and you must eliminate them by making contact with them. Enemies have a line of sight and will attack you if you wander into it. When an enemy is eliminated, it generates a sound that draws other enemies to that location. There will also be items like potions that you can collect by moving into them. Once all the enemies have been eliminated, you complete the level and can move on to the next one.
Tips and Tricks
The key to victory is to move quickly and use as few movements as possible. All the objects and obstacles in the map serve as cover and to break the enemy's line of sight. Since you can always see enemy positions, you can move creatively to avoid being spotted. When you eliminate an enemy, be prepared for a counterattack or cover.
