But that's okay because this game wants to focus on the driving, speed, and the shape of the tracks. It's not as loud or wild as other racing games which means you can focus on the driving that's happening right in front of you. Of course, this means that you need to practice and develop your skills so that you can get a feel for this type of car and the kinds of tracks that you'll need to complete.

3D Formula Racing is a 3D driving game that's about racing Formula cars using just the keyboard.

Controls

W/Up Arrow - Accelerate
S/Down Arrow - Decelerate/Reverse
A/Left Arrow - Turn Left
D/Right Arrow - Turn Right
Spacebar - Handbrake

The goal is to complete tracks as fast as possible to level up. You're not racing any other drivers so it's all on you to make use of the open track to get the best times. By completing tracks, you'll earn experience which is tracked in the top right corner of the screen. The race only ends if you finish it or you decide to stop.

The main menu gives you a chance to select among the cars that you have available. After you pick your car, you can choose which track you want to race. Both tracks and cars will be unlocked as you earn experience and level up. When you choose a track, you'll be taken to the starting line to begin your run. Your current record, the timer, and your speed will all be shown on the left side of the screen. The faster you finish, the more experience you'll earn.

Tips and Tricks

Since there are no other cars on the road, that's a major obstacle you don't have to worry about. Still, you need to note that the car doesn't have the best maneuverability and can quickly start to spin out at a slight turn during high speed. Practice going slowly so that you can find that sweet spot of speed and control.
