Soldiers are trained in many ways, but they often have to suppress certain tendencies to continue moving forward. In this game, the soldiers keep charging until they fall due to an enemy or other severe obstruction. Your army isn't the most populated or best equipped, but they have training and rely on your guidance to succeed. You must lead them down the right path to get the strength and numbers they need to keep pushing forward. Sometimes, you'll incur losses and have no choice but to retreat. However, you can't let every defeat stop you from progressing when tactical thinking is all you need.
How to Play
Runner Soldiers is a 3D runner game about soldiers traveling down a road and engaging everything they encounter with the mouse or keyboard. The onscreen analog stick can be used by holding the Left Mouse Button and dragging the cursor. You can also steer your forcers left or right using the Left/Right Arrow or A/D keys, respectively, as your soldiers will advance and fire on their own. The goal is to reach the end of every stretch of road. If all your soldiers fall before then, you'll be defeated.
The main menu surrounds the game screen at the center, allowing you to earn extra cash and gems and use them to buy upgrades to improve your soldiers. Interact with the game screen to start playing, and your soldier will begin running. You'll start with a small force that has basic weaponry and will encounter obstacles, enemy soldiers, and glowing auras. The obstacles can give you cash and power-ups when destroyed, while defeated soldiers earn you money. The auras will improve your fire-rate, range, and damage and can add new units or change your weapons. Each soldier will have a health bar above their head and fall when it hits zero. Obstacles will have a number indicating the number of shots they need before they're destroyed. Certain auras can be fired at to improve their bonus scores. You must reach the end of the road, and the stronger your army is, the more cash and gems you'll earn.
Tips and Tricks
Initially, you should try to steer toward auras to build up your firepower before trying to break obstacles or kill soldiers. There's an element of luck that goes into what appears, so you'll need to react accordingly. If you have enough soldiers, it's less risky to crash into obstacles to get their prizes if you fail to destroy them with shots.
