MonkeyMarket is a literal take on monkey business, which means the animal kingdom can now get in on capitalism. You're playing a monkey who has taken on the ambitious career of running his store. However, since this is his first store, he must learn and do much of the work. You must help him keep his business alive by ensuring customers can always find what they want. The more active of a monkey you are, the more your store will grow, and monkey customers will always come through ready to shop and spend. The business won't succeed without you, so work hard.
About MonkeyMarket
Monkeys have been everything from noble heroes to villainous troublemakers, but they're rarely seen as entrepreneurs. In this game, the shop is run by monkeys for the benefit of monkeys. However, due to their similarity to humans, monkeys can be just as demanding and all-consuming, so they'll need a store that suits their needs. Initially, you'll be short-staffed and out of stock, but you have to keep grinding as that's the only way to make money. What you do with that money will determine whether you succeed in business or die trying… and you can always look to hire some friendly hands.
How to Play
MonkeyMarket is a 2D management game about a monkey running a store for other monkeys using the mouse and/or keyboard. Hold the Left Mouse Button and move the cursor to use the onscreen analog stick, or move the cursor to select the icons you want to use.

The goal is to make your store the best a monkey could have. Your profits and other details are displayed at the top of the screen. You must keep working and expanding until your covers all that it can. The game ends when you achieve the highest score or stop running it.
The main menu overlays the game screen and lets you access shops to buy hats for the monkey or upgrades for him and other parts of the store. When the day begins, your shop will be an empty floor. You must use the startup money you have to start putting on shelves and then add products such as produce and animal products like eggs. You can carry products by going up to them and placing them on their appropriate shelves. Customers will arrive to gather what they need and then head to the cash register to pay. You can spend the money they give you on upgrades, new elements for the store, and even hiring employees to help out in the different areas. Make sure you keep your animals and employees awake and keep any criminals from causing trouble. Keep on going until your store becomes an indispensable facet of the community, and then unlock new markets to open.
Tips and Tricks
Since you'll be on your own at the start, you must constantly stay active and hover around the products so that you can collect them as soon as they're ready. Before you hire employees, make sure there are several product shelves in place and sources making multiple products at once. Save your excess money for personal upgrades to be more efficient.
