Lumberjack Idle
Lumberjack Idle is designed to be played in passing without too much stress or intensity while performing a repeated task. You are a lumberjack who has set up shop on the outskirts of a very large forest filled with endless trees. You'll spend time chopping down each of these trees and collecting the wood, which you will then invest in your growing business. You'll first need to invest in yourself before you can make it big since you'll be starting with beginner tools that will only do so much before they begin to slow you down. It'll be a lot of work to build yourself up.
About Lumberjack Idle
Some idle titles require more input than others, but the main advantage is setting it down and stepping away. This game will have you doing much of the work at the start and will slowly rise to idle status. Even so, none of the additional help will ever be as effective as your lumberjack, who can always chop and haul in the most wood. Your investments will depend on whether you prefer to take a leading or passive role in your lumberjack business. The more you put into yourself, the more you'll get out of the work you put in when you're active.
How to Play
Lumberjack Idle is a 3D idle game about being a lumberjack collecting wood using either the mouse or keyboard. Holding the Left Mouse Button and dragging the cursor will move the lumberjack.

- S - Move Backward
- A - Move Left
- D - Move Right
The goal is to collect wood and grow your lumber company. The lumberjack will automatically start chopping when close enough to a tree. He can also collect any wood that falls by walking over it. The game ends whenever you want to stop chopping.
The main menu serves as a home base for the lumberjack, who will have access to a market and a shop. The former lets him sell any wood he's collected for money, and the latter allows him to spend the money on upgrades like improved axes, increased carrying capacity, higher quality trees, and extra help. When chopping a tree, you must wait until the tree falls and then you can collect the wood that drops from it. Your carrying capacity and cash counter will be shown at the bottom of the screen. As you earn more cash, you'll get much better equipment and more help chop down trees when unavailable.
Tips and Tricks
The idle part of the game will take some time to reach because workers are expensive, and you'll need many of them to earn sufficient passive earnings. It's best to spend some time grinding for personal upgrades, then improve the trees to increase profits. After that, you can hire many workers immediately and reap the benefits of idle work.
