About Just Bubbles
Something is calming and whimsical about popping bubbles, especially when they come in such a wide range of colors. In this game, all you have to worry about is popping bubbles, and you have the simple means to make that happen. The challenge arises when the bubbles don't arrange themselves as you like, and you don't get the bubbles you need. Every misplaced bubble will ultimately work against you, so you need to use your shots carefully. You do have some options when it comes to firing your random bubbles, but you can only do so much in trickier circumstances.
How to Play
Just Bubbles is a 2D arcade puzzle game about popping all the bubbles that appear using only the mouse. To aim your bubbles, move the cursor around the screen, and the launcher will follow. To fire a bubble, click the Left Mouse Button, and you can use the Right Mouse Button to switch between your available bubbles. The goal is to keep popping bubbles while they're still hanging above you. If the bubbles reach the launcher, it's game over.
The main menu lets you choose between Time Trial and Endless mode, with the former giving you smaller groups but faster bubbles, and the latter giving you much slower-moving bubbles. After you pick your mode, you'll be taken to the bubble screen. The bubbles will be at the top, and your launcher will be at the bottom. The circle in the launcher will indicate which bubbles you have available and will provide a new one after each launch. You must fire your bubble into a group of bubbles with the same color to pop them. Groups of three or more will all pop, and any bubbles hanging onto them for support will fall and also be added to your score. Keep popping the bubbles for as long as you can.
Tips and Tricks
Bubble-popping is a frequent game practice, and it's easy to stay calm and focused as the bubbles take their time. The launcher trajectory is very generous and can be used to precisely aim your shots and bounce them off the wall if needed. The bubbles you get are random, so never waste them on clogging up paths to larger groups.
