Green Orb Adventure adds another type of hero to the adventure game line-up with an expected power. You play a Green Orb that has decided to adventure in some old ruins. While exploring, you meet denizens asking for help and must answer the call. As you enter the ruins, you see they have become inhabited by monsters, and all the traps have reactivated. This is no longer a safe place, so you must explore the different chambers of the ruins to delve deeper and discover what has caused these changes. The Green Orb is more than capable if you just need to use its abilities effectively.

How to Play

Green Orb Adventure is a 2D platforming adventure about a Green Orb exploring ruins using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal is to reach the end of each chamber. The Green Orb's health, coins, locks, and other items are displayed at the top of the screen. It will have to retry the chamber from the start if it loses all of its health.

The main menu lets you start a new adventure or pick up in the chamber where you left off. Each chamber starts the Green Orb in one place; from there, it must reach a locked door in another part of the chamber. Locks can only be opened with a key hidden in the chamber inside chests. There will also be blocks that contain items when destroyed. Coins will be littered around the chambers to collect, and some enemies will drop them. While exploring, the Green Orb must avoid hazards like spikes and confront various monsters roaming in the chambers. The Green Orb has a fireball attack that lets it hit enemies and destroy particular objects from a distance. Once it unlocks the exit door, the Green Orb can move on to the next chamber.

Tips and Tricks

As a platforming adventure, you need to mind your movements, but you'll have a full view of each chamber. This will give you time to prepare as you approach difficult areas with traps and enemies close together. Getting hit back-to-back is easy, so be careful not to get stuck between two harmful sources.
